Abstract

The objective of present documentary review is identify the effects of methods of auditory rehabilitation in population that uses hearing aids, reported in studies published in the scientific literature. These methods are music therapy, auditory verbal therapy and verbotonal method.


Was made a search in different databases, selecting and classifying the references obtained. From this study, it was determined that the methods of auditory rehabilitation generated multiple benefits in the auditory abilities, social and communicative interaction, comprehension and expressive language and acoustic perceptual qualities of voice in population with hearing aid and cochlear implant.
